Re-Architecting Data Science at iRobot with Angela Bassa

Today we're joined by Angela Bassa, Director of Data Science at iRobot. When Angela and I caught up a few months ago, iRobot was just completing an internal data science re-aligning, and in our conversation we cover their freshly minted architecture. Angela gives us insight into their new data-forward thought process and a look at the evolution of iRobot on that front. We also discuss where iRobot data comes from, how they taxonomize data science, the platforms and processes that have been put into place to support delivering models in production, and the role of DevOps in bringing these various platforms together.
