Metaflow, a Human-Centric Framework for Data Science with Ville Tuulos

Today we kick off our re:Invent 2019 series with Ville Tuulos, Machine Learning Infrastructure Manager at Netflix. At re:Invent, Netflix announced the open-sourcing of Metaflow, their "human-centric framework for data science." We caught up with Ville to talk all things Metaflow, including what problem is Metaflow is trying to solve, why it was important for Netflix to open-source Metaflow, and it's core features. We also discuss the user experience accessing and managing data, experimentation, training and model development, the various tools and libraries that are supported, and integration with Sagemaker, amongst other services.
