About this Episode

Today we're joined by Joanna Bryson, Reader at the University of Bath. I was fortunate to catch up with Joanna at the AI conference, where she presented on "Maintaining Human Control of Artificial Intelligence," focusing on technological and policy mechanisms that could be used to achieve that goal. In our conversation, we explore our current understanding of "natural intelligence" and how it can inform the development of AI, the context in which she uses the term "human control" and its implications, and the meaning of and need to apply "DevOps" principles when developing AI systems. This was a fun one!
