Oliver Wang is currently working on GenAI at Google DeepMind, developing world-class image and video generation models and teaching multimodal language models to both show and tell information. Prior to that, he founded and co-led Firefly from its conception up until its initial release at Adobe. Before that, he worked mostly on media creation tools, image and video editing, and 3D reconstruction, and was active in the academic community by mentoring PhD students and publishing papers.
