<p>Jie is an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck & Co., Inc., working on integrating digital technologies and data science capabilities to aid clinical development. Jie received her PhD from Duke University in soft matter physics with a robust training in data analytics, which set a strong foundation in her later data science roles at Merck. Jie is currently the unit chair of Topical Group on Data Science (GDS) within American Physical Society (APS).</p>
