I received my Diploma of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece in 2012 and my Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota. My Ph.D. work is focusing on geometric vision, image processing, machine learning and robotics with applications in precision agriculture. For one year, along with my Ph.D. I worked on real-time segmentation algorithms for LiDAR sensors for autonomous driving applications at DELPHI Automotive. Currently, I am the Principal Scientist at Sentera designing algorithmic tools that provide actionable aerial information to farmers and agronomists.
