Natural Language Processing has been a great interest of mine for many years. This mainly stems from my undergraduate and graduate years in Manchester where I gained a BSc. and MSc. in Computational Linguistics. I have been earning a living as a software developer for a number of years now, mainly with Java but more recently with Python and Javascript. More recently I have been working on a political sentiment analysis project analysing RSS Feeds from publications from around the world for their political perspective. The recent developments in NLP are very exciting but keeping up is a challenge. I am particularly in the relationship between Linguistics and NLP.

Conference Sessions

TWIMLfest  2020
A session exploring the possibilities of CheckList, the task-agnostic methodology for testing NLP models introduced in the paper, Beyond Accuracy: Behavioral Testing of NLP Models with CheckList. This session is inspired by the recent TWIML interview with Sameer Singh, co-author of the paper.
