Seth Weidman is a data scientist at Facebook who works with the PyTorch team to improve tutorials, documentation, and overall developer experience, as well as writing new tutorials when new features are launched. He most recently built solutions to machine learning problems at Facebook; prior to that he taught data science as a founding member of the corporate training team at Metis, and prior to that he worked at Trunk Club, using machine learning to help them sell clothes. He is passionate about trying to explain complex concepts simply, and recently published an introductory book on Deep Learning with O'Reilly called Deep Learning from Scratch. He has mathematics and economics degrees from the University of Chicago.
