Scott Clark

Scott Clark is Co-Founder and CEO of Distributional, an adaptive behavioral analytics platform that empowers teams to better understand the behavior of their users and AI products so that they can more confidently fix and improve those products over time. Scott was previously the Co-Founder and CEO of SigOpt, an a16z-backed enterprise AI optimization platform based on Bayesian optimization research related to his PhD. After selling SigOpt to Intel in 2020, Scott was VP of AI and HPC engineering within the Supercomputing organization leading 200 engineers robustly scaling up and out hundreds AI and Science applications. Before Intel and SigOpt, Scott was a machine learning engineer at Yelp where he developed and open sourced the Metric Optimization Engine, which enabled sample-efficient parameter optimization using Bayesian Optimization and other global algorithms.
