Community Guidelines
Do:
- Be considerate of others and approach all interactions with community members with a spirit of collaboration and kindness. Treat others the way you would want to be treated
- Acknowledge each other’s differences in backgrounds, skills, interests, and values. Our primary goal is to learn from each other
- Respect others and their opinions even if they differ from your own. Challenge the idea, not the person
- Support your statements with evidence, properly cite the source you are quoting and provide the rationale for your points
- Be mindful of how much space you are taking in the discussion. Allow others to express their opinions
- Contribute to community discussions and events as you are able
- Respect the platform and community we have collectively built at TWIML
Don’t:
- Attack or harass others. Abusive or illegal behavior will not be tolerated
- Copy and paste entire articles or web pages
- Present someone else’s work as your own
- Post comments that are off-topic
- Post spam, commercial advertising, self-promotion, and comments containing only a link to another website. This includes the discussion and private messages
