Maya is a Machine Learning Engineering Manager in Spotify's Personalization Platform organization. This group provides foundational user and content understanding to the rest of Spotify so that users' experiences are more enjoyable, inspiring, and engaging. Prior to Spotify, Maya led personalization and recommendations teams at Elsevier and Mendeley helping researchers amplify their capabilities to keep up-to-date and connect with collaborators. Maya holds a M.S. in computer science and machine learning from UC Santa Cruz and lives in NYC.
