To support our growing content, education, and community programs, I’m looking for a Content & Community Marketing Assistant.
This could be you if you’re extremely organized and detail-oriented, with skills in one or more of the following:
- Email marketing
- Social media management
- Website content management
You’ll also need to be high energy, a self-starter, resourceful and able to make progress on projects with little direction. Did I mention detail-oriented? Seriously, I can be a bit of a perfectionist so you’ll really need to be about the details in order for this to work.
You should be comfortable juggling a wide variety of web and social media tools to be successful in this position: WordPress, social media (Twitter, FB, LinkedIn), Google Docs & Sheets, MailChimp, and Buffer to name a few. Bonus points if you’ve got advanced skills in any of the above, or with Google Sheets/Excel, Jira for project management, or Zapier for automation.
This could be a great part-time job opportunity for a mature student, but before applying definitely consider whether you’ll truly be able to dedicate consistent time to it as well as meet with me regularly during US business hours.
Primary activities include writing summaries and social media posts of TWiML podcasts, meetup events, and other ML/AI topics; posting these to the TWiML website and social media sites; and editing, uploading and scheduling the TWiML newsletter as well as various meetup-related emails.
This is a paid, contract position that I expect to consume 10-20 hours per week.
Excellent written and verbal English is required.
